The Little League Program is the flagship of NHLL. Players from 9 -12 years old, who have developed their skills and captured an understanding of the game, become a part of Little League level and play a competitive schedule.
You may sign up for the Little League division but your player must try out for this level. If a player is not drafted during the Little League Draft, they will be drafted in the Minor A draft which will be held a short time after the Little League Draft.
This level includes two (2) levels of All Star play for those players who excel throughout the season. The “A” level engages in District tournament play, which is very competitive and is the first stop on the road to Williamsport, PA and the Little League World Series. The “C” level is reserved for select 9 & 10 year olds who will also play in the District format with the chance to move on to Regional and State levels. The Little League Division is for players ages 9-12 born between 09/01/2010 and 8/31/2014.
The Minor A Division of our Minor League program is where players play games that begin to track Little League rules. Walks, strikeouts, put outs, runs and stealing all combine to make for eventful 2 hour games. The Minor A Division is for players ages 8-11 born between 9/1/2011 and 8/31/2015. provided they have played at least one year of Minor B.
The B Division of our Minor League program is where players begin playing games that begin to track Little League rules. Games are at least 3 innings long but do not go over the 90 minute mark. Players are put into positions with coaches pitching. Everyone bats in the first inning and put outs are counted in all subsequent innings until 3 outs are recorded or everyone has batted in the inning. The Minor B Division is for players ages 6-8 born between 9/1/2014 and 8/31/2017. Provided they have played at least one year of T-Ball.
Tee Ball is where it all begins. Designed for boys and girls between the ages of 4-6 born between 9/1/2016 and 8/31/2019. This program focuses on introducing the very basic concepts of fielding, throwing and hitting the baseball. “Games” are kept to an hour with every player getting a chance to bat each inning. Balls, strikes, outs and runs are not a factor at this level.
For 2023 we are raising the rate for players league age 8 and under at $125 dollars and league age 9 and over at $150 including $50 of raffles for each level. Additionally we do not want any eligible kids to be turned away due to financial hardships. If you are in such a situation and would like consideration for a registration fee waiver, please send your request to dmthornl@gmail.com. This request will be known by Little League Board members only.
If you are registering more than one player in your family, you will receive a $50 dollar discount on the second player, and three or more will cost a total of $300. In order for the registration system to recognize that you are registering multiple players, please register all of your players at this time. On the Review Page, there is a link near the bottom to "Register Another Player" - please click on this link to ensure that all of your players are registered within the same order.
